Reviews
Well it's done well it has all
the elements of a good film But the waiting and the waiting for something
interesting to happen . I washed cloths I mopped the kitchen and took the dog
to his groomer .And the guy was still putting on his shoes.Nope, I'm sorry, all
the high reviews are from people that never saw a real western. This movie is
so bad because it tries to be a western but with the mentality of today. The
script it's ridiculous, basically it's everyone dies. People get shot and have
arrows pierce their hands but everything is OK, like it doesn't hurt. The only
thing good in this movie is the landscape, and the horses. All the clichés of
cowboys bad, American Indians good. Immigrants good people that only steal
because they have families starving. I mean common, does this movie has any
original idea? anything new? no, it goes on and on with clichés, good bounty
hunter(we don't know why the all movie) drinks with bad bounty hunter(we don't
know why either), no story behind the characters. The only bad guy that starts
to be likable, the priest with a rifle inside a trunk(cliché), dies 1 minute
after he starts shooting people with the rifle. The Scottish family that
supposedly has some background story(cliché), and that we don't know, and
nobody tell us what it is, I mean ridiculous! how do you want us to care for
anyone if we don't know what everyone does in this movie? or more important,
why they do it? The best part of the movie is the bounty hunter story at night,
I mean that 5 minute story is better than the all movie in terms of script,
actors, and action. I can't believe even that so much good actors signed for
this movie, the actors it's not the problem really, that's why I give it 2
stars, 1 for the landscape and scenery, and another for the actors, but that's
it. We see Indians but they're just this mystical people that comes and goes
and disappears and don't say anything important. I sincerely can't believe that
people gave this movie more than 5 stars, or even 5 stars, have they watch
westerns in they're lifes? are these people from the movie, or with any
connection to the filmmaker or the country it was filmed? give me a break,
Fassbender did charity on this one, but this is definitely a movie I won't see
ever again in my life.
